CLaSS Fees
Working out how much you pay
The cost of each course is shown in the course details. The course fee is for the entire course.
Accreditation Fees
On some courses as well as your course fee, there is a cost for accreditation. This could be for a traditional examination fee or for registering your work to be assessed with an awarding organisation. These accreditation fees are correct at the time of going to print. However, occasionally they do change. You need to pay these fees when you enrol on your course.
These fees are non-refundable once you have been registered with the awarding organisation. Help with accreditation expenses may be available, see here.
Additional Costs
For some practical courses you need to pay an additional fee of £5.00 towards basic materials provided by CLaSS. This fee for materials is shown under the materials column next to each course listing. You pay this when you enrol on your course. For most of these practical courses you will also have to buy further materials yourself during the course.
Please do not buy anything before your first session unless you are asked to on the course information sheet. The course information sheet clearly states what we provide and what you need to provide.
For a whole range of courses you may also have to pay for your own textbooks, materials and consumables. Wherever possible, you will be informed of these additional costs in the course information sheet. Help with any course-related expenses may be available - see the Learner Support Fund.

If you need more help, please discuss this with staff at our centres.
