Personal Best

Realise your Potential Today

CLaSS Learner

Do you want the chance to volunteer at the 2012 Olympics?

Do you want to gain skills to help you find work?

This exciting Personal Best volunteering programme, which is funded by Learning & Skills Council and London Development Agency, is a great opportunity for you if you are not in work or education, and you would like the chance to volunteer in your community. The Personal Best courses give you the chance to improve your skills and successfully find a job.

The programme is free and we can help with travel and childcare costs. In addition to 2 days of study each week for 9 weeks, you will get help with finding volunteering opportunities – and at the end of the course you will be given help with looking for paid or voluntary work.

The programme offers:

  • The chance to gain new skills
  • A nationally recognised qualification (a Level 1 course in Event Volunteering)
  • Personal Support to help you complete the course
  • Help with finding volunteering opportunities
  • Advice on further learning or training
  • Help with looking for paid or voluntary work when the course finishes
  • A guaranteed interview to become a London 2012 Olympic volunteer

A new course starts every month.
