New Health and Safety Qualifications

CLaSS have now been given centre approval with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) and can now offer accredited Health and Safety Qualifications in the following subject areas:

• CIEH Level 2 Award in Health and Safety – For general awareness
• CIEH Level 3 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace –For Managers that are responsible for Health and Safety in the work place (starts summer 2009)
• Risk Assessment Level 2 - For general awareness
• Risk Assessment Level 3 - For people that are responsible for carrying out Risk assessments in the work place (starts summer 2009)
• CIEH Principles of Manual Handling (starts summer 2009)

We have successfully delivered Health and Safety at Work Level 2 to council departments this term and have a number of courses ready to start in Spring 2009.

For anyone who gains a nationally recognised Health and Safety qualification this will show a level of awareness and competence.
