Waltham Forest Libraries
Are you making best use of Waltham Forest Libraries? There are ten libraries across Waltham Forest which stock a wide selection of fiction and non-fiction books as well as DVDs and CDs. Membership is free to all, with one form of identification being required to join. You can take out up to 15 items on loan at any one time.
Can't get to the library? You can renew all your loan items online and make reservations. Waltham Forest Libraries is a member of the London Libraries Consortium (LLC) giving library users access to a choice of over 3 million books. Search our libraries catalogue online and the catalogues of all eight consortium library services. If you can't find the book you're looking for, the library service will try and find it for you.

All our libraries have free PC use, internet access and study space.
Save time queuing in the library, issue and return loan items with our new self-service units at Walthamstow, Leytonstone, Hale End and North Chingford libraries. These four libraries also offer FREE WiFi internet access using your own laptop, mobile phone or PDA.
Our largest library is Walthamstow Library which houses the reference collection.
