'My Endz' Project
'My Endz' is a training project held at Leyton Cyber Link in partnership with CLaSS, with further support from London &
Quadrant and Team Leyton. Leyton Cyber Link is part of the Better Neighbourhoods Initiative.
The training was in Digital Photography & Photoshop and over 30 pieces of artwork have been professionally printed and mounted. CLaSS tutor Emma Barnard, an established artist in her own right, taught the course. The exhibition is being curated and organised by Emma, and Jane Brueseke, the Cyber Link project officer.
The participants were 8 young men from the Beaumont Estate; a large social housing estate in one of the borough’s most deprived wards.
The exhibition launch was on Wednesday 27th February at the Cyber Link. Over 50 people attended the launch including Councillor Clyde Loakes, the Leader of Waltham Forest Council, Councillor Geraldine Reardon, Cabinet member for Leisure, Arts & Culture and Councillor Terry Wheeler, Cabinet member for Enterprise & Regeneration.
In her speech, Cllr Reardon said the work was "of an excellent standard" and was "delighted that the partnership had delivered such a successful pilot project."

The exhibition will remain at Cyber Link until the end of March, after which it will tour various sites including the William Morris Gallery, The Waltham
Forest Town Hall, Roding School and the old Leyton Town Hall.
