WorkSkills - Courses for Businesses

Community Learning and Skills Service (CLaSS) runs courses designed to improve and enhance the skills of people employed in businesses and local organisation.

We have been running the WorkSkills Training programme for more than 10 years and have trained 1000s of people from businesses, the local authority, care homes and nurseries and community organisations.

Take a look at our latest WorkSkills brochure (pdf), it includes details on a range of ICT courses and Health and Safety courses, including First Aid, Risk Assessment, Fire Safety and Personal Safety. It also includes details of a range of FREE NVQ level 2 courses CLaSS is offering to local employers under the Train to Gain initiative.

Our new programme also includes a course aimed at frontline staff who deal with clients with limited written or spoken English. This is an extremely popular course.
